Description
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the orchestra, the DG will release the limited 32-CD box "LA Phil - 100 Years" on March 22nd. The extensive edition contains recordings from 1920 to today, with previously unpublished material. Among them are live recordings of Beethoven's piano concertos, played by Arthur Rubinstein, "Don Juan", interpreted by Otto Klemperer and one of the last performances by Igor Stravinsky.
